As South Africans we have every right to teach , protect and nature our kids in every possible way. Sex before marriage is now a song of the past in our generation. As parents and the society let’s teach our kids to wait and avoid sexuality thereby avoid “Abuse” that comes with it. So many children or girls have been lured and then abused. We can prevent this by responsibly teaching our kids to take the right path. FAMSA helps in guiding children by presenting them with preventive measures they can take to avoid sexual abuse.

Sexual abuse, gender violence, and disease such as hiv/aids are to some extent the major cause of suicides. Women and children are abused sexually, infected with diseases and the only option they see fit is to commit suicide. The scenarios are the major causes of suicide in our country as they fail to deal with excruciating pain in their minds. We can come together and save lives by raising awareness in such matters.

The majority of people in our societies needs to be educated on preventive measures against a number of diseases. HIV over the years has been a bigger threat to the lives of many. Such diseases in some instance has given rise to many suicides due to the nature of an individual without hope for the future. The major problem in our society that has impacted or broke families apart is the gender based violence. South Africa has recorded so many cases of GBV.
